The Library Advisory Board consists of nine members who reside within the City of Glendale. The members are appointed by City Council. Two of the nine members are students attending high school. The student members of the Board are appointed for one year terms and may be appointed for a second one year term. The non-student members of the Board are appointed for a two year term.
The mission of the Library Advisory Board is to support the mission of the Glendale Public Library, providing advocacy for free and equal access to material, without prejudice and discrimination, to each man, woman and child in the community.
