It’s the end of the school year and every parent has the same question, “How do I keep my kids busy this summer?” Don't give it another thought! Visit one of the Glendale Public Libraries and the perfect answer will come naturally. Sign your kids up for a summer reading program which will give them fun incentives to keep sharp and entertained during the hot summer months.
Beginning June 1 through July 31, the Glendale Public Libraries will encourage children ages newborn to 18 to “Read Your Way to The Ballpark.” This reading program, sponsored by The Arizona Republic and Arizona Diamondbacks, offers many incentives including final prizes of a free book and a Diamondbacks game ticket. Signing up for the program is simple. Visit the youth department at your nearest Glendale Library and the library staff will help get your child started.
And no Glendale Public Library Summer Reading Program would be complete without LOTS of free programs to interest kids of all ages. Use the links on the right to view program information. And don't miss, for the first time, the Summer Reading Club Video. |
