MYAC Christmas Angels

The 2010 Glendale’s Mayor Youth Advisory Commission (MYAC) purchased Christmas presents for 42 children that may otherwise be without gifts this year.  Members of MYAC decided that they wanted to use some of the money that they have earned through community fundraising projects to participate in the Holiday Angels program where they would be able to provide Christmas presents for children in families who would otherwise have a difficult time providing gifts for their kids. 

MYAC President Lauren Sibeck said, “MYAC enjoys working events such as the Snow Fields at Glendale Glitters to raise money for the Holiday Angel Program. At this time of year it is heartwarming to get together with other MYAC members to share at least a smile on Christmas day for children who are less fortunate.”
