Glendale’s 2011 Plein Air Competition at the Glendale Chocolate Affaire
This annual one-day painting event took place on Saturday, Feb. 5. The event was open to any artist (18 years of age and older) using the Plein Air technique (open air and executed outdoors). The Plein Air Painting Event is hosted by the City of Glendale Arts Commission in conjunction with City of Glendale Office of Special Events and the Annual Glendale Chocolate Affaire. The winning entries became part of Glendale’s permanent collection upon completion of the event.
