Sponsorships and Donations Needed for Special Events
Every year Glendale’s annual Fall Festival and Spring Extravaganza events historically draw more than 4,000 attendees each.  To keep the event free to the public, we are soliciting and accepting candy and prize donations for the many games and contest for children.  In addition to the opportunity for product donations, we are also recruiting corporate and/or title sponsorships. Adopt-A-Trail Program
Have you heard about Glendale’s Adopt-a-Trail program? You can become actively involved in conserving and maintaining the tremendous natural wealth and beauty of nearly 50 miles of multi-use trails in the city. Volunteers are needed to help improve and maintain the trails. Individuals or groups will receive training on the proper techniques. Adopters will be asked to keep the trail maintained and litter-free at least twice a year. If your organization is interested, please call 623-930-2042.

Volunteer Coaches Needed
The Parks and Recreation Department is always looking for volunteer coaches for its Youth Sports Program. No experience is necessary and the city provides all necessary equipment. To sign up or learn more about the opportunity, call 623-930-2820.
